The Wedding Experience

Your engagement is a season. Your wedding is a day. Combined, both represent your story together.

And, I want to capture every moment for you to relive for years to come.

All About You:

One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is getting to know the couples who are in front of my lens. They’re all different, but they all have at least a few qualities in common. Does this sound like you?

You’re kind and compassionate. You’re eager to personalize your wedding day with details about your story, but you’re also quick to find thoughtful ways to honor your family and friends.

You love natural, bright, and timeless photography that evokes joy – we’re capturing your wedding day after all!

You’re as excited for your first look and your ceremony as you are to share your first dance. You can’t wait to experience it all. And, you believe every moment builds toward a day you want to remember forever, no matter how perfect or imperfect it may be.

Your favorite photos are always candid moments – the ones that happen in between poses that capture you and those you love naturally and without pretense.

Your biggest hope for your wedding day is to feel calm, so you can live every moment in the moment and feel like yourself through it all.

Send me a note

After taking a look at my portfolio, send me a note to inquire about your photography for your wedding day. I can’t wait to learn more!

Let’s meet

After receiving your note and reviewing your wedding’s date and location, I’ll set up a meeting so we can learn more about each other. I love meeting couples over Zoom and in coffee shops.

Welcome

After deciding we’re a wonderful fit for each other, I’ll send you a digital contract for you to review and sign. Your retainer will be due at this point, and I’ll officially welcome you to the Michelle Lynn Weddings family!

Planning your first session

Engagement sessions are wonderful because they allow you to become comfortable in front of my camera. Plus, they offer a chance for us to meet in advance of your wedding day. Together, we’ll decide the style of your photo shoot and where we will capture it.

Capturing your love

Throughout your session, you will become more and more comfortable in front of the camera in a location that holds meaning to you. After your session, you will have photos you can share, frame, and use on your save-the-dates!

A few questions for you

Before your wedding day, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire for you and your partner to complete. This will help me to learn about the moments you’re most excited to experience and the photos you can’t wait to see after your wedding day. I’ll also use your answers to build your wedding day photography timeline.

Your wedding day

My biggest goal on your wedding day is to always make sure you’re calm, comfortable, and having fun! I try to be a “fly on the wall”, so I can capture your day naturally, exactly as it unfolds.

A little editing

After sharing a sneak peek of a photo or two from your wedding, I’ll get to work on the rest of your gallery. You can expect to receive your wedding photos within 8 weeks after your wedding day. Delivering your photos to you is the highlight of my work as a photographer!

Creating your album

I believe photos are meant to be printed, so I’m always eager to create wedding photo albums for my couples. You can either choose your favorite photos or leave the choice up to me! Once we know what we’re including, I’ll carefully design your album cover-to-cover before delivering it to you.
